Two days ago I came back, California dreaming there was two weeks of admiring victorian homes that line the streets and not to far away are rocky sculptural shore lines pressed up against the oldest and most beautiful trees in the word, the red woods. This get away ended with a wedding ceremony so full of love I think the whole bay area must have felt it! To say the least this last weekend was really special. Rebecca, a really good friend/sister of mine got married and wow.... It was such an honor to be part of a ceremony that truly cerebrated two peoples love for one another. This was the real deal people.
Every one formed a circle with the bride and groom and when it was time to put on the rings they passed the rings around to be blessed by all that were in the circle. The ceremony brought tears to every ones eyes…. I mean even the officiant was in tears as he married the couple (he was dressed in some really groovy pants too, might I add) Ahhh so much love!
Creating the flowers for this wedding was so much fun. Rebecca's Dad, Jon played the fiddle for us as we prepped the flowers for the next day. Such a treat!
This family is so full of tenderness and was willing to help us with every step of the way making us feel like we were at home. I mean right when we walked through the door we were greeted with mint cucumber water!
Congratulations to Andre and Rebecca! Cheers to a match made in heaven!
